Dr Adeyemi Shonubi

Dr Shonubi is a male Family Physician and has been in active medical practice for about 20 years. He is an adept Family Physician with a wide area of exposure in the field of medicine. He has special interests in elderly medicine, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension and he strongly believes in a holistic care for his patients.

He has held several academic and clinical lead positions. He is also a keen advocate of evidence based medicine with a view to ensuring quality assurance for his patients.

Dr Shonubi's training was mainly in the United Kingdom, where he gave several clinical presentations and carried out various audits with outcome advice. This enabled improved quality of care on practice implementation.

Whilst in the United Kingdom, he worked and managed his private clinic and also worked actively in the National Health Service (NHS).

Dr Shonubi holds a Diploma in Health Management by the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, this background affords him the deftness in the field of Management.

He is a G.P(General Practitioner) trainer in the United Kingdom. Dr Shonubi's passion to teach has continued since moving to Alberta 2 years ago as he is also a Clinical lecturer with Department of Family Medicine, University of Calgary.

He consolidated his interest in diabetes by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes, conferred by the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom in 2012.

He was conferred with a Diploma in Elderly Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2003, having worked in different elderly units and hospital. St Mary's Hospital in Dublin, Ireland is particularly memorable as it helped stir up his interest in Elderly Care.

Dr Shonubi also has interests in children, women and men's health. He also performs minor surgical procedures.

Dr Shonubi is a member of the Section of General Practitioners Executive Committee of the Alberta Medical Association. He also sits on the board of Highland Primary Care Network.


DR Eyitope Roberts

Dr Roberts is a female Family physician; she has been a physician for about twenty years now. She is a portfolio Family practitioner with a special interest in research and women's health.

She is a Certificant of the Educational Commission for Foreign medical graduates of the USA.

The bulk of her clinical training was in the United Kingdom where she completed the training scheme to become a family physician. Her work in the UK combined both clinical practice and research at the Keele University in Staffordshire, UK, where she worked as a GP research Fellow. She is a GP trainer in the United Kingdom.

She worked as the Clinical Director of a Family Physician led clinic in England, a role she maintained for 3 years until she relocated to Canada. In addition to medicine, She has training in management and holds an award in leadership and team skills from the Institute of leadership and Management (ILM); United Kingdom.

She enjoys teaching and worked as a GP trainer in England, She is currently a Clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary.

Apart from research, she has interests in women's health, dermatology, minor surgery and cosmetic surgery.

She sits on the board of the Highland, Primary Care Network.


Dr Oladipo Odubanjo

Dr Oladipo Odubanjo, fondly called Dr O by his patients is a male family physician. He has been in active medical practice over the last 20 years and has a strong passion for patient centred care. 

The bulk of his medical training was done in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom (UK). He has had the privilege of practising medicine in Ireland, Nigeria, UK and in the last 4 years, the beautiful province of Alberta. 

Dr O is also a clinical lecturer and is involved in the training of medical students and family medicine residents in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine, University of Calgary.

Dr O has recently relocated his practice to the Bridge Medical Clinic and welcomes both new and existing patients of his.
